The new Muckleshoot Casino Resort, owned by the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, has recently officially launched operations at the Muckleshoot Events Center in Auburn, Washington. The resort hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 3, 2024 and will be available for general public during the grand opening ceremony to be held from January 26 to 28, 2024.
New Hotel Tower and Expanded Casino Floor:
As reported by Indian Gaming, the new resort includes an 18-story hotel with 401 rooms and 27 suites, as well as an expanded casino floor for gaming enthusiasts. A wide range of amenities includes an indoor pool, a luxurious spa, as well as a rooftop Smoke & Cedar restaurant rendering a breathtaking view of the Mount Rainier.
Grand Opening for General Public:
The grand opening celebration will reportedly start on Friday, January 26 to run through Sunday, January 28. The host has made a careful selection of performances to meet the requirements of a wide audience. Therefore the weekend celebrations include performances by comedian David Spade and classic rock legends Blue Oyster Cult. As reported, tickets for these two shows range from $60 to $125, but guests may take advantage of the festivities not only to spend money on exclusive renderings but also potentially win thousands in cash. Additionally, guests may win free plays at the casino and free stays at the new resort, as well as a $100,000 stake for a new car, according to Indian Gaming.
Official Opening Held on January 3:
The same source also reports that the grand opening of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort follows the official opening held on January 3. The leaders of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe conducted the ribbon-cutting ceremony in the vibrant atmosphere warmed up by the sound of CO2 cannons and the images created by surrounding LED displays and shots of confetti. The settings and arrangements testified about the importance of the latest tribal development.
Yvonne Johnson, Muckleshoot Casino director of resort operations reportedly said: “From a whisper to a resort, we have built the next level of experience for regional tourism here in the PNW. The addition of a dynamic resort experience to Muckleshoot Casino exemplifies the Muckleshoot Tribe’s unwavering commitment and dedication to developing unmatched guest experiences.”
Important Milestone:
The event was attended by reputable tribal members and veterans, who were honored with a guard march, led by traditional drummers, and also featured a tribal prayer and a traditional song and dance of the Canoe family to point out the significance of the milestone reached by the tribe. The January 26-28, 2024 grand opening of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort for general public will represent another milestone for both the tribe and the resort. The venue will use its hotel and casino resources to focus on guests and service, with room rates to be reportedly ranging from $189 to $349 per night in February.
