Gibraltar-headquartered distributor of mobile gaming content, Nektan plc (AIM: NKTN), has signed a partnership agreement with Rocksalt Interactive, which specializes in the development of computer games and provides high-quality art outsourcing services, in keeping with its effort to further diversify its in-house games offering.

As part of the freshly-inked deal, the India-based content designer will utilize its skill to fashion one-of-a-kind Nektan-branded games, which will be accessible across Nektan’s E-lite and Evolve platforms. Rocksalt will also be responsible for the entirety of front-end functionality of the bespoke releases, to include features, game assets and illustrations, with the provider handling the games engine.
Premier offering and minimum:
The pirate-themed, Plucky Pirates: Devil’s Triangle, will serve as the first Nektan-branded title developed by Rocksalt to go live. The online video slot features gameplay that is highly engaging along with state-of-the-art graphics.
Under the terms of the deal, a minimum of 12 new games will be created and distributed to the global gaming platform’s white-label casinos and commercial operators.

Recent supply deals:
In December, the fast-growing international gaming technology platform and services provider expanded its premium games portfolio with the addition of NetEnt’s live dealer games, including roulette and blackjack.
Just prior to that deal, Nektan partnered with independent Japanese games company, Rising Entertainment Co. Ltd., in an agreement to distribute the Asian firm’s games content via its Gibraltar-based remote gaming server (RGS).
