Less than two weeks after launching its Strolling Staxx: Cubic Fruits video slot and online casino games developer, NetEnt AB, has now announced that its next innovation is due to feature legendary hard rock vocalist, Ozzy Osbourne.

The Stockholm-headquartered firm used an official Tuesday press release to declare that its coming Ozzy Osbourne-branded video slot is set to join a rock-friendly family of ‘huge hits’ that already includes the likes of Guns n’ Roses, Motorhead and Jimi Hendrix.

Bryan Upton, Game Products Director for NetEnt, portrayed Osbourne as a ‘living legend’ that has sold over 100 million albums via his 50-year career as a solo artist and the front man for British heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath. He stated that the Birmingham-born singer, who is often known by his ‘The Prince of Darkness’ nickname, is moreover well known for The Osbournes reality television series in which he appeared alongside his wife, Sharon, and two children.

The leading supplier is currently taking part in the three-day ICE London exhibition and detailed that the licensing deal with Osbourne was brokered via the 70-year-old’s brand management and merchandising partner, Global Merchandising Services. This firm’s Chairman, Barry Drinkwater, described the developer as a ‘market leader’ in the industry subsequent to proclaiming that he is ‘incredibly excited’ to be adding ‘another of our artists’ to its portfolio of video slots.
