Swedish online casino games developer NetEnt has reportedly signed an agreement with Grupo Caliente for Mexico’s regulated online casino market.
This is the second such agreement NetEnt has signed in its effort to continue its global expansion on regulated markets.
The agreement will see NetEnt supply a wide selection of its innovative, award-winning slot games to the operator’s online casino in Mexico, where Caliente is the largest online gaming operator in the regulated market. Customer integration work will reportedly begin soon and upon completion, with the launch of games to be communicated separately.
Managing Director of NetEnt Americas LLC, Björn Krantz, said: “I am very pleased that Caliente has selected us as a business partner for online casino. They are a true frontrunner in Mexico, and a major player within the regulated online gaming space. I am convinced that we can support them to drive online casino growth and to provide the best-in-class entertainment experience to their player community.”
Caliente Interactive CEO Emilio Hank, said, “We are very excited to integrate NetEnt’s world class gaming portfolio. We are confident the games will expand our growth and solidify our leadership in the regulated Mexican market.”
It’s been a busy summer for NetEnt, with its recent release of video slot games The Legend of Shangri-La: Cluster Pays and Planet of the Apes in September and its product releases in Serbia and Spain.
