iGaming Business – The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has announced that the US state experienced a jump in online gaming revenue during August, marking the second consecutive month of growth.
The state’s regulated online gaming market generated $10.5 million (€8.1 million) in revenue during the month, up from $10.1 million in July.
Revenue from online poker amounted to around $2.3 million in August, which is up 5% on the $2.2 million achieved in the previous month, while other authorised games were responsible for $8.3 million of total online gaming revenue for the month.
The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, combined with the PartyPoker internet poker brand of its online gaming operator bwin.party, remains the market leader in the state after it generated $3.5 million in total internet win.
