To further strengthen its boxing sponsorship portfolio, British online casino company 32Red has reportedly signed a personal endorsement deal with Northern Irish boxer Carl Frampton.
The multi-fight deal will cover the former two-weight world champion’s fights under his new promotional agreement with Frank Warren and he will serve as the Gibraltar-based company’s official brand ambassador.
Frampton’s fight-night shorts and training apparel will don 32Red’s logo, which could be seen in a post-fight interview on Saturday, Nov. 18th after the 30-year-old beat Mexico’s Horacio Garcia in an exciting non-title affair at Belfast’s SSE Arena. Also part of the agreement, regular content will be provided by Frampton to social channels and the 32Red blog.
Commenting on the endorsement deal, the featherweight said, “I’m excited to be sharing the next stage of my career with 32Red, a brand who have a long history of supporting top quality sport and boxing in particular,” according to the 32Red blog. Frampton went on to say to he is looking forward to working with 32Red at what is a great time for him especially and boxing.
He said his focus now is to win back a world title at Featherweight and afterward become a three-weight world champion at Supper-Featherweight.
32Red director of brand and acquisitions, Gerry Murray, commented: “All of us at 32Red are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Carl during what could be the most exciting period of his career.
“We have a successful existing partnership with Carl’s new promoter Frank Warren and when the opportunity presented itself to take that to the next level by adding him as an ambassador, it was something we jumped at,” said Murray.
Earlier this year, the UK Gambling Commission approved the acquisition of 32Red by Malta-based online gambling operator Kindred Group.
