The Indiana Gaming Commission has released the November revenue report for the five casinos located in the northwest portion of the state, showing a 1% increase overall for the month when comparing year-over-year totals. The casinos earned a total of $73.57 million for November which is slightly more than the $73.4 million earned in the same month in 2015.
The highest increase in revenues goes to the Ameristar casino in East Chicago which brought in $17.05 million. This was a gain of almost 5% from the $16.24 million earned in November of 2015. Ameristar Casino Vice President and General Manager Matthew Schuffert commented on the increase stating that the casino had seen nice growth year over year and continued to see quality growth in table games for quite some time.
The Majestic Star I casino of Gary, Indiana was able to see an increase of almost 3% for the month, earning $7.1 million. Blue Chip Casino was basically even for November, earning $12.69 million this time around as compared to $12.72 million from last November. The Horseshoe Hammond earned just over $31 million which is less than the $32.60 million earned last year. The Majestic Star II located in Gary earned $4.86 million which is just under the $4.94 million earned in 2015.
