Dover Downs Hotel And Casino in Delaware has announced that it has seen an “enthusiastic reaction” to a pair of games it recently sent out to patrons following the signing of a deal with software-as-a-service firm OfferCraft.

Owned by Dover Downs Gaming And Entertainment, the 500-room Dover Downs Hotel And Casino revealed that the OfferCraft games gave its hotel guests and casino visitors the opportunity to win food, shopping vouchers and casino credits.

It stated that the first game invited customers who had not been to the property in at least a year to come back to “see what they had been missing”. The venue declared that players from nine surrounding states participated while average spending increased by 831% when compared with two previous campaigns it conducted before the partnership with OfferCraft.

Dover Downs Hotel And Casino explained that a second game was sent to recent customers via direct mail and led to a 406% increase in new e-mails collected versus previous efforts with about one-third of these patrons spending more on during their subsequent trips.

“We are thrilled to partner with a creative and innovative company like OfferCraft,” read a statement from Pete Bradley, Casino Operations General Manager and Vice-President for Dover Downs Hotel And Casino. “Its tools and approach enable us to offer our customers compelling and creative offers.”

For its part, OfferCraft stated that its software platform blends behavioral economics, artificial intelligence and psychology to “create fun incentives that excite and engage both customers and staff”.

“The team at Dover Downs Hotel And Casino is highly creative and takes a science-driven approach to its decisions,” read a statement from Aron Ezra, Chief Execuitive Officer for Las Vegas-based OfferCraft. “The executives here really care about their guests, which makes these spectacular early results even more wonderful.”
