British sportsbetting technologies provider OpenBet has announced the signing of an agreement that is to see its innovations power the retail and online sports wagering service for Betfred Sports in the midwestern American state of Iowa.
The London-headquartered firm used an official Wednesday press release to detail that the arrangement will involve its solutions powering the 3,500 sq ft sportsbook situated inside the Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort including this land-based enterprise’s self-service kiosks and betting counters. The company proclaimed that its digital technologies support mobile and desktop apps and are to also be utilized by Betfred Sports to run ‘the perfect omni-channel experience’ so as to allow its punters to enjoy ‘a variety of betting options including parlays, in-game wagering, teasers, futures and player props’ on a wide range of events.
Established in 1996, OpenBet was recently purchased by American media and talent giant Endeavor Group Holdings Incorporated as part of a $1.2 billion arrangement and it disclosed that it now supplies a modular range of technologies and services to sportsbetting, lottery and casino operators in the United States, Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Cathryn Lai (pictured) serves as the Chief Commercial Officer for OpenBet and she used the press release to describe Betfred Sports as a ‘long-term partner’ with the new Iowa alliance representing ‘an important milestone’ in her company’s ‘continued United States partnership’ with the subsidiary of British bookmaking giant Betfred.
