Oryx Gaming has extended its long-standing partnership with Gibraltar-headquartered gambling company 888 Holdings plc (LSE: 888) after launching its content with the firm’s leading online casino brand, 888casino, in Spain.
The new deal significantly expands the Bragg Gaming Group (NASDAQ: BRAG) subsidiary’s market position in the southern European country, having already established partnerships with a number of top licensees in what is considered to be a “key” regulated market.
Agreement details:
Part of 888’s product and content-leadership strategy, the agreement has seen select games from Oryx’s remote gaming server (RGS) portfolio launched in Spain via 888casino. According to the press release, additional titles will be introduced soon. Included in the offering is exclusive content from the leading full turnkey solution provider’s in-house studio and Bragg Gaming Group-owned Atomic Slot Lab, as well as games from Oryx’s latest RGS partner, Blue Guru Games.
Now, 888casino’s customers in Spain have access to a games library that offers a wide array of one-of-a-kind and localized titles with captivating features, themes and mechanics from some of the most desired and innovative studios in the industry. The addition will help support the popular online casino’s existing offering of premium, content-rich games.
Commenting on the collaboration, Talya Benyamini, VP B2C Casino at 888, said they are “pleased” to extend their partnership with Oryx games and offer its content to 888casino players in Spain.
“This will provide our customers with an increased portfolio of dynamic and exciting titles, which is an important part of our product and content-leadership strategy.”
Oryx Gaming first partnered with 888 Holdings in July 2020 when it integrated the provider’s RGS platform content, featuring proprietary games along with premium titles from leading partner studios, German online premium game developer, Gamomat, as well as Golden Hero Games, Givme Games, and Malta and Krakow based international games studio, Kalamba Games. And the expansion closely follows deals with 888casino for the UK and Swiss iGaming markets.
Thanks to the current agreement, Oryx’s presence in Spain, where it has already successfully secured partnerships with various leading licensees, has been significantly boosted.
Successful growth strategy:
Chris Looney, Chief Commercial Officer for Bragg also commented on the alliance, saying that they are “very pleased” to partner with 888casino, “one of the world’s leading online casino brands, having launched our premium content portfolio with them in new and established markets.”
The CCO explained that extending their “successful collaboration to Spain is a great next step as we continue to execute our growth strategy across key regulated markets together with trusted and leading partners.”
According to British betting and gaming consultancy H2 Gambling Capital, the total addressable market, or TAM, for the online casino sector in the southern European country is reportedly projected to be approximately US $0.53 billion in 2022.
Oryx notes that the market expansion “builds on a strong 2021” for the company, having entered four new jurisdictions; including the Czech and Slovakian markets, with SYNOT Group brands SYNOT INTERACTIVE and EASIT in January; in Switzerland with Grand Casino Luzern’s online brand in March; and in Greece with Novibet after being awarded a supply license there in August. Its content has also launched with 80 new operators and 140 new brands while securing three new iGaming platform partnerships.
