Independent gaming certification lab, BMM International LLC or as it is branded, BMM Testlabs, has reportedly been licensed to certify online gaming products in the Philippines by the country’s gaming regulator, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (PAGCOR).
In a prepared statement, executive vice president for BMM Testlabs and general manager Asia Pacific, Australia and South Africa, Kirk White, said, “We are already licensed by Pagcor to provide compliance testing and certification of land-based slot machines and systems. This new licence enables BMM to extend our service offerings to the region to include the evaluation, testing and certification of online gaming systems, games and security process for all the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator [POGO] licensees,” according to the report from GGRAsia.
The Las Vegas-headquartered BMM will reportedly be responsible for ensuring that PAGCOR licensee’s online gaming systems, as well as games and security processes comply with the gaming regulator’s requirements.
White added, “With four of BMM’s 11 testing facilities located in the Asia-Pacific region: in Singapore, Macau, Melbourne and Sydney; BMM is very well situated to support the POGO licence holders in obtaining their product certifications in a timely and cost effective manner.”
