Following the launch of its latest online slot title and Play’n GO has partnered with Nederlandse Loterij, the largest provider of games of chance in the Netherlands.
Under the agreement, the Dutch Lottery’s players will be able to access the supplier’s award-winning games via “direct technical integration” for the very first time.
Already popular in the Netherlands’ nascent iGaming market, titles from the Sweden-based provider such as the 5-reel video slot Super Flip from 2018, along with Book of Dead, Rise of Olympus and Gigantoonz, from the same family as one of the best grid slots of all-time, Reactoonz, will soon be experienced by a whole new audience.
Natural partners:
Explaining that the newly-regulated Dutch market is “one of the most exciting in the industry right now,” Stuart Trigwell, Head of Sales Western Europe for Play’n GO, said they are “looking forward to bringing fun and entertainment to the Nederlandse Loterij’s players.”
He goes on to say that the Nederlandse Loterij and Play’n GO are “natural partners in many ways, not least because we share similar values around keeping players safe, acting responsibly, and ensuring that gaming is first and foremost fun.”
Optimistically, Trigwell says the agreement is “just the beginning of what will hopefully be a long partnership that will see exclusive and localised content developed to ensure that the Dutch lottery’s players enjoy gaming entertainment that resonates with them.”
Formed by the 2016 merger between the Nederlandse Staatsloterij and De Lotto, the Nederlandse Loterij is, as stated earlier, the largest provider of games of chance in the northwestern European country.
In its first month, Play’n GO supplied more than 200 premium titles to the newly regulated market, including and Holland Casino, which was one of 10 operators granted a license from the Netherlands Gaming Authority (Kansspelautoriteit (KSA)) to offer online games of chance from October 1st, 2021, day one of Dutch gambling’s newly regulated iGaming jurisdiction.
Latest slot release:
The new collaboration, as mentioned, is on the backside of the launch of the Växjö-headquartered supplier’s most recently released video slot, Gigantoonz, which is another Reactoonz title.
The game combines elements of the two previous games in the popular series, Reactoonz 2 and Dr Toonz, with a few twists. First, the game area is bigger, with Gigantoonz played on an 8×8 sized grid. The bigger playing area doesn’t necessarily mean more wins, however, as players will need 6 or more matching symbols to form winning clusters. It is visually similar to the second iteration of Reactoonz but less cluttered, with a tracking meter to the left of the grid and the Quantumeter to the right.
Max win in the high volatility slot is 4,000x the bet while the RTP is 96.25 percent. Be sure to give it a spin!
