On the heels of releasing its latest music slot and Swedish online casino software developer Play’n GO has set a date with destiny announcing its first May 2020 title, Agent Destiny.
The 5-reel, 3-row, high volatility spy adventure is a nod to the popular pulp comics, movies and TV series of the ‘50s and ‘60s, with artwork based on the style of Adam Hughes. The American comics artist and illustrator is best known for his renderings of pinup-style female characters.
Secret agent inspired:
According to Play’n GO, Agent Destiny‘s character is inspired by infamous agents like James Bond and former criminal turned Secret Service agent, Modesty Blaise, from the 1963 British comic strip by the same name.
The Sweden based slots specialist says that this gives the 60s spy-themed game a “distinctive appearance, one that will be familiar to audiences throughout the world.”
Symbols and special features:
Complete with a trio of engaging special features, to begin, winning combinations form when three or more matching symbols land left to right on one of the 20 paylines.
Game symbols include four high and four low pay, with the latter being the wide-spread 10-A royals. The high pays, character symbols, include the three agents and a mad scientist, which, along with the Wild Safe may appear as Mega Symbols of varying sizes.
Mega symbols either appear on the reels randomly or when stacks of the same symbol on adjacent reels merge. The game’s most valuable symbol, landing five Wild Safe symbols on a payline is worth 60x the stake.
The creative design team at Play’n GO have fashioned the mega symbols and Linked reels, a feature that can appear at random on any spin, to give the impression of the panels in a comic book, a further demonstration of the detail the developer puts into the link between the gameplay to the style.
It’s all in the detail:
In an official press release, Chief Executive Officer for Play’n GO, Johan Törnqvist explained how the Växjö-headquartered firm approaches this attention to detail…
“If you want to make the most entertaining games, you need to consider the whole experience, that’s what we do.
Agent Destiny is not just a fun game to play, but also recapture the fun and excitement of the spy adventures the game is based on.”
Design, sound, features; all elements must come together to create a slot which captures the player’s attention and immerses them fully while they play.”
Mission Cash follow-up:
Taking over where the Swedish supplier’s previous secret agent title, Mission Cash, left off, Agent Destiny is available now across all devices and major Operating Systems including Windows, Apple, Linux and Andriod.
As noted, the developer’s latest release comes on the heels of its recent April offering and tribute to the band of the same name, Annihilator.
