Virtual NASCAR races are coming to New Jersey. PlaySugarHouse.com has announced they are one of the first online sportbooks in the US to offer the option, set to begin betting with the 2020 eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series. Players in New Jersey will be able to log online and wager on virtual races with the first race to take place on April 19th via the Toyota Owners 400 in Richmond.
Realistic Racing:
The Cup Series races are realistic and will feature popular drivers from today and years gone by. Races will include such drivers as Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Denny Hamlin and Clint Bowyer. The series of races began back in March, with FOX Sports broadcasting. Over a million viewers have tuned in to the iRacing competition.
With the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series, exclusive entertainment is being provided via motorsports racing simulation. The virtual sports betting option is providing bettors with something to wager on while the real races are nonexistent at the moment. With the simulator, it provides a full NASCAR experience, from the aspects of the car to the differences in the tracks where the races take place.
According to a recent press release…
Rush Street Interactive COO Mattias Stetz commented on the new offering by stating:
“We are happy to be able to offer such an exciting and competitive entertainment event. It’s also fun to see how these talented drivers will compare in the virtual world of competitive racing.”
Virtual Race Schedule:
The schedule for the virtual races will follow the schedule of the NASCAR Cup Series. The outbreak of the coronavirus has shut down all sporting events as well as non-essential businesses in the hopes of slowing the spread of the virus. For the virtual series of races, the events will include the Geico 500 in Talladega as well as the Cup Series Race in Dover.
