The Playtech BGT Sports sportsbetting subsidiary of omni-channel gaming software and services innovator Playtech has reportedly announced the signing of a deal that is to see Corporacion Caliente install around one dozen of its self-service betting terminals at locations across Mexico.

New Terminal Installation:

According to a Thursday report from G3Newswire

Corporacion Caliente is a subordinate of Spanish gaming firm Codere, who inked an agreement with NetEnt last year, and this initial agreement could soon be followed by a further arrangement that would involve even more of the self-service betting terminals from Playtech BGT Sports being installed around Latin America’s second most populous nation.

G3Newswire reported that the world’s largest supplier has lent Corporacion Caliente its innovative casino systems since 2014 although the latest arrangement marks the first time that Playtech BGT Sports has agreed to provide the Mexican operator with sportsbetting services.

“This is an exciting moment for Corporacion Caliente as we further develop the experience we offer those who visit our casinos,” reportedly read a statement from Victor De La Fuente, Business Development Director for Corporacion Caliente.

“We are continually looking for ways to improve customer engagement and this represents the latest development as part of this strategy.”

Continued Company Growth:

For his part, Armin Sageder, Chief Executive Officer for Playtech BGT Sports, reportedly declared that his firm’s partnership with Corporacion Caliente has ‘gone from strength to strength’ and continues to notch up ‘significant growth.’

“The extension of our relationship into retail reflects the success we have achieved to date and the opportunities we both see lying ahead,” reportedly read a statement from Sageder. “Mexico is a fast-growing and regulated market and a strategically important territory for Playtech.”
