In its latest two birds with one stone move, Pragmatic Play has inked separate multi-vertical agreements for its Slots, Live Casino and Virtual Sports portfolios on two different continents with two sports betting operators, Hollywoodbets and Smashup, for the UK and Ireland markets and Brazil iGaming space, respectively.
The tie-up with Hollywoodbets builds on the firm’s already established relationship, having agreed a deal earlier this year to supply content for the operator’s South Africa home base. After that successful collaboration, the pair decided to do the same for the operator’s customers in these two important regions.
“we have found an ideal partner to enhance our existing portfolio of games”
Now, players in both the United Kingdom and Ireland will be able to experience Pragmatic Play’s entire portfolio of Slots comprising 250-plus titles, such as the recently released Gorilla Mayhem, the popular fishing-inspired Big Splash and Gates of Olympus, the Greek Mythology-themed video slot that has won the provider multiple Game of the Year awards.
Also included in the agreement is a comprehensive selection of land-based casino classics such as blackjack and roulette, along with the provider’s flourishing Live Casino vertical, with the innovative Boom City, which was launched in late July and plays via a custom-built set, as well as Sweet Bonanza Candyland, the gameshow-inspired live dealer version of the wildly successful Sweet Bonanza candy-themed slot, and Mega Wheel, inspired by the popular Money Wheel and Big 6 concepts from land-based casinos.
Completing the multi-product offering is a range of industry-sought Virtual Sports products, each with market-leading real-time 3D graphics.
What They’re Saying:
“Hollywoodbets strives to offer our customers premium entertainment and thrilling experiences and, in Pragmatic Play, we have found an ideal partner to enhance our existing portfolio of games,” read a statement from Dermot O’Connell, Hollywoodbets Betting Operations Manager.
Also commenting on the new deal, Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play, said in a company news release…
“We’ve been working with Hollywoodbets for a while now and so its professionalism and high standards are no stranger to us. It’s fantastic news to be able to work with them in additional markets, especially in the biggest European market which will allow for further brand exposure and lead generation.”
Smashup Partnership:
In keeping with its strategic global growth goals, Pragmatic Play has partnered with entertainment company Long Island to power its LatAm-focused Smashup brand, in a deal that builds on its already significant progress in Brazil’s iGaming space.
Like the previously reported commercial deal, the new partnership will see the provider’s Slots, Live Casino and Virtual Sports verticals go live with the sports betting operator in the burgeoning region. The agreement includes the same popular products made available to the operator‘s customers, providing important cross-selling sports betting opportunities.
Regarding the new alliance, Justin Wong, Chief Operating Officer for Smashup, said they are “delighted to have such a “rich collection” of new content to wow their players with. The COO goes on to say that Pragmatic Play’s titles are “well-loved” across Brazil and that having them in their games lobby “will only strengthen the quality” they have to offer.
“We’re excited to be working with them and we can’t wait to get the games live.”
LatAm Proficiency:
The multi-product content provider has made significant gains in its goal of becoming the region’s leading iGaming supplier, having recently inked a series of commercial deals including the most recent with sports betting and online casino services provider, InstaBet, for the Brazil and Mexico markets, as well as BNR Bet and Weebet in Brazil, among many others. And the success has cemented the supplier’s position as the industry’s go-to partner for iGaming content provision.
For its part, Pragmatic Play, Vice President of Latin American Operations, Victor Arias, Vice President of Latin American expressed his thoughts on the collaboration, saying…
“Another multi-product agreement shines a light on the importance of having a quality, diverse selection of products.
“We’re fortunate to have such a talented team that gives us the tools to continue our expansion across Latin America and are thoroughly looking forward to delivering our strong package to Smashup.”
