Pragmatic Play continues to grow its presence in the LatAm market thanks to a new agreement with Colombian operator, Yajuego, a brand of Bogotá-based sports betting company, Games and Betting S.A.S., which in February 2019 became the seventeenth company to be granted an online gambling license in the South American country.
The multi-product content provider’s slots are already live with the operator, and now, Yajuego‘s Colombian player base will have full access to Pragmatic Play’s award-winning live casino products as well.
Under the Colombia-specific agreement, the operator will be able to add titles such as ONE Blackjack, which is broadcasted from the developer’s state-of-the-art studio in Bucharest and gives players the chance to win up to 2000x stake, with a brand new side bet option; Mega Roulette, a single-zero roulette game that allows as many as five multipliers to be randomly applied to straight-up bets; and Dragon Tiger, Pragmatic’s two-card interpretation of baccarat, to its digital lobby.
User-friendly brand:
Explaining the importance of adding the new live casino products, Matteo Gerbino, Marketing Director for Yajuego, said…
“Our main focus as a brand is maintaining our reputation as one of the fastest growing operators in Colombia, and this is only achievable by providing our players with the most up to date casino products.”
Gerbino goes on to say that establishing an agreement with “a provider of Pragmatic Play‘s status” has them “up for long term success,” and they look forward to seeing where the partnership takes them.
Headquartered in Bogotá and licensed by COLJUEGOS, Yajuego is a leading operator in Colombia, which is a key jurisdiction in its LatAm expansion strategy and where it continues to grow its brand presence. Launched in 2019, Yajuego has made quick work of making a name for itself.
The operator provides a complete online portfolio, including pre-match sports betting, live sports betting and an expansive collection of online casino games across the South American country and takes pride in its delivery of transparent, user-friendly solutions to its growing player base.
Also commenting on the live casino deal via company presser, Víctor Arias, Vice President of LatAm Operations for Pragmatic Play, said…
“Yajuego enjoys a reputation as one of the most user-friendly operator brands in Columbia, priding itself on security and the simplicity of use of its platform.
“Our slots are already live with the operator, but thanks to a new agreement, Yajuego’s Colombian player base can now enjoy the thrills of Pragmatic Play’s valued Live Casino collection.
Going from strength-to-strength, the Gibraltar-based provider’s popular live casino portfolio has launched with a number of operators in the Latin American region, having earlier this month inked a multi-vertical deal with Venezuelan operator El Inmejorable and in September inking a similar deal in Peru with Apuesta Total, proving its expansion strategy is effective in local markets as well as globally.
Drops & Wins Winter Edition:
In simultaneous announcements, Pragmatic Play also delivered news of the winter edition of its Drops & Wins promotion, which is sure to have both players and operators looking forward to what is one of the largest prize pools the provider has ever fully sponsored.
From November 17th to February 9th, a staggering prize pool of €1,000,000 per month will be maintained by the provider, with a 50/50 split between slots and live casino, with the addition of the latter vertical a major upgrade, with all of the live casino titles to include the Prize Drops feature.
With Prize Drop mechanics, players can be rewarded randomly as they place “real-money qualifying bets” in any of the games. The in-game promotional tool is extremely popular for Pragmatic’s player-favorite slots such as the fishing themed Big Bass Bonanza and The Dog House Megaways along with more recent releases like Starlight Princess and Gates of Olympus. It is, however, new to live casino games industry wide.
Sweet Bonanza CandyLand:
What that means is, Pragmatic’s highly anticipated live casino release of 2021, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, which is due to launch in November, will see Prize Drops available to players. The live casino version of the wildly successful Sweet Bonanza candy-themed slot, will, according to Pragmatic, “offer players something they have never seen before.”
In addition to the new release, it also means that the provider’s popular live casino games such as Blackjack Azure and Mega Roulette gain another element to keep players entertained.
Commenting on the concept, Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer for Pragmatic Play, said that since its inception, the Drops and Win feature has been “well received” by players and operators alike.
“The idea behind Drops and Wins was simple but profound, we tried to give players more of the feeling they seek when playing our games, the winning feeling. By adding Prize Drops to our Live Casino offering, we feel this brings another dimension of excitement to this great product.”
Barzely added that Sweet Bonanza CandyLand is “going to turn some heads for sure” when it becomes available in November, and that by including the feature, they are “aiming to make a great product even better.”
