Dog people rejoice, Pragmatic Play has brought back all the loveable characters from its hit 2019 version of The Dog House but with a Megaways makeover.
Players returning to suburbia in this enhanced version of the developer’s first dog-centric title need not worry as the only major change is an enlarged game area necessary to accommodate the 6 reel Megaways set up. The popular mechanic is used under license from Big Time Gaming (BTG). Otherwise, the 117,649 payline sequel includes all of the elements that helped make the original so popular along with a few exciting new features.
Symbols & features:
Game symbols carryover from the first installment, with pillowy 10 to A tiles, bones, collars, and those adorable pooches including pugs, dachshunds, Rottweilers, and loveable Shih Tzus. And while values have been lowered a bit, win ways have increased, with premium dog symbols now worth from 1.5 to 7.5x.
A returning Wild, the dog house symbol appearing on reels 2, 3, 4, or 5 can substitute for everything but the scatter. Whenever a wild symbol lands, it may do so accompanied by a random multiplier of x2 or x3. And if more than one wild is part of a winning combination, all, if any, multipliers are added to the other(s).
Like the symbols, The Dog House Megaways‘ features are similar to the original with a few minor exceptions. The first is the dog paw scatter symbols which can appear in any position. Landing at least three triggers the bonus game where players choose either Sticky Wilds Spins or Raining Wilds Spins, neither of which is re-triggerable.
The former offer fewer spins, 7 versus 15, but have a higher win potential as players can win up to 12,305 times their stake.
Players who’d rather not wait for three or more scatters to appear, are also given the option to “buy free spins.”
Megaways difference:
In a company press release, Chief Commercial Officer for Pragmatic Play, Melissa Summerfield, commented on the dog-tastic title, saying…
“The Dog House Megaways™ is an exciting new take on one of our best performing titles, The Dog House. With the Megaways™ mechanic added to our artfully crafted gameplay, players can be more immersed than ever.
“With our slot portfolio continuing to grow at an impressive rate, both players and operators now have a diverse selection of titles to choose from and we look forward to how our latest addition will be received by fans across the globe.”
The new video slot with a 96.55 percent RTP joins the multi-product content provider’s recent release, Aztec Gems, both of which complement Pragmatic’s “increasingly diverse” slot portfolio.
Coming soon:
Fans can also expect the supplier’s first branded slot, Peaky Blinders, which is due to be released on August 27. Based on the gritty British TV show of the same name, the 5-reel, 3-row slot showcases characters from the show and some exciting features.
The company, which currently produces up to four new online slot games a month, has made quick work of inking a string of content deals with industry leaders including Latin American operators, Universal Race and SuperBets, along with software solutions supplier, Reactive Games, while also adding its bingo vertical to online lotto operator Lottoland.
