Pragmatic Play examines the mystical side of life via its first online slot title of the New Year, Magician’s Secrets, which provides players with “a huge variety of different wins and multipliers” and a max win of 5,000x the bet.

The high volatility, 6-reel, 4-row game with 4,096 ways to win is playable on all iOS and Android devices including tablets and smartphones and has a default RTP of 96.5 percent. A randomly triggered expanding Wild feature provides multiplier values that are worth up to 10x the player’s stake.

All the spinning action takes place in what appears to be an alchemy lab, where a glass-domed roof shelters walls of books that reach the rafters and a revolving globe atlas sits to the right of the reels. Here, lower pay symbols include diamond, club, heart and spade card suits, alongside an orange shield while magic potion, dagger, chalice, shadow necklace, and a book of spells are the premiums. The high pays are worth up to 100x the player’s stake for six-of-a-kind wins.

Winning combinations are formed by landing at least three of the same symbol type on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel.

Bonus features:

The magician serves as the game’s wild symbol, appearing on all reels sans the first and last and replaces all other symbols except the scatter, helping players complete winning paylines. The scatter appears as an orange crystal ball and landing three of them triggers the Bonus Round. When activated, players will choose from two Bonus round options, including the Sticky Wilds Bonus Round and the Expanding Wilds Bonus Round.

Players who choose Expanding Wilds are awarded 10 extra spins. During this round, respins are triggered by landing wild symbols on reels 3 or 4 and they expand. Every respin sees a x1 multiplier added to the expanding wild and is applied to all wins. Landing at least three scatters during the round awards 10 additional spins.

Choosing the Sticky Wilds bonus round awards players with 8 extra spins. When the feature starts, one symbol is selected randomly and if it happens to land on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th reel, it changes into a wild symbol. Even better, the symbols stay put on the screen until the feature ends. When/if wild symbols fill an entire reel, three additional extra spins are awarded to players.
