Cruise ship operator Princess Cruises has reportedly announced that it is about to host its largest ever slot tournament promotion after inking a unique deal with American gaming machine and systems innovator Scientific Games Corporation.

According to a Thursday report from G3Newswire, Princess Cruises explained that its Monopoly Cruise for Cash campaign is to be offered via hundreds of cruises over the course of the year before culminating in December with a $200,000 slot tournament aboard its 142,700-ton Regal Princess.

Anil Mansukhani, Onboard Revenue and Business Development Vice-President for Princess Cruises, reportedly declared that his firm is ‘continuously updating’ its portfolio of slots by investing in new titles such as 88 Fortunes, Monopoly Millionaire, Zeus Unleashed, Fu Dao Le and Lock It Link before stating that the Monopoly Cruise for Cash promotion will allow his firm to ‘showcase some of the latest slot technology in the industry’.

Princess Cruises reportedly detailed that its Monopoly Cruise for Cash campaign is set to offer ‘the highest cash and prizes ever offered’ with the concluding week-long Regal Princess extravaganza set to begin from December 9 as the vessel leaves Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to cruise around the eastern Caribbean to take in stops such as St Maarten, Princess Cays and Saint Thomas.

Alongside the Monopoly Cruise for Cash campaign, the next five months is reportedly moreover due to see Princess Cruises offering guests the chance to win other lucrative prizes via its Paradise Lotto and Monopoly scratchcards.
