On the heels of its entry into Switzerland, Yggdrasil Gaming has launched the latest addition to its slots portfolio, Atlantis Megaways, created by Australian developer ReelPlay.
The 6-reel video slot was developed in partnership with the YG Masters program and utilizes the Cherry AB subsidiary‘s advanced GATI technology. With his mighty trident in tow, Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, rules the reels in this enchanting underwater adventure that offers up to 117,649 win ways.
“This slot has an astonishing number of ways to win.”
Stunning artwork sets the scene, while cutting-edge technology transports players to the mysterious deep-sea city created by Poseidon, where low pays include 10-A card values and a lionfish, seahorse, octopus, and dolphin comprise the premiums. Poseidon himself is the most lucrative symbol, with players earning 100x the stake with a line of 6 and only two of a kind to pay. The submerged temple, meanwhile, serves as the game’s Wild and can substitute for any symbol with the exception of the Scatter, depicted as a glowing treasure chest.
Respin and scatters:
Every time a player earns a win, a chain reaction can start where additional wins with jackpot prizes of up to 2,000x the total bet are possible. Players have a chance at further wins via the Pearl Jackpot Respin feature, with as many as 42 prized scatter symbols waiting to be landed on the watery reels.
Head of Partner Programs for Yggdrasil, Stuart McCarthy commented on the new release in a company press release…
“With the launch of Atlantis Megaways™ we’re delighted to be able to offer players another captivating and mesmerising game through our successful YG Masters program.
“This slot has an astonishing number of ways to win and players will love the exhilarating gameplay and superb artwork that ReelPlay is known for. It’s hard to forget you’re not swimming in the depths of the mythical city of Atlantis.”
YG Masters:

As mentioned, the new release has also been configured using Yggdrasil’s GATI technology, which allows studios to make use of the “preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to create cutting-edge content.”
