The Grand Siena LLC announced on Monday that the company will be selling the Siena Hotel Spa Casino located in Downtown Reno sometime this summer. The 14 year old property will now see its 3rd owner since opening, with the purchaser remaining a mystery for now.

The sale will include the 8 story complex which has 214 guest rooms located along the Truckee River south banks. The price of the sale was not disclosed nor was a date for the final purchase. The identity of the buyer was not released but the Grand Siena stated that the new owner plans to renovate the property as part of a partnership with an internationally recognized hotel/resort brand.

The renovations will have a multi-million dollar price tag, but no details of the changes have been released. With the purchase pending, the hotel will continue to operate as normal with no interruptions. All previously booked stays will be honored by the new owners.

All employees of the facility will be able to interview for their positions with the new owners and the name will remain as the Siena until the renovations and rebranding process is complete.
