Online poker cardroom, PartyPoker, has launched a revamped version of its platform in an effort to further improve the quality of its customer’s experience.

iGaming Business reports that phase one of the upgrade project includes improved game navigation; removal of the one-click lobby; a new-look lobby and tables; collapsible filters; and an updated Sit & Go HERO lobby.

To be released in the next quarter, phase two of the enhancement effort will reportedly include the ability of players to view the full-screen lobby; enhanced tournament lobby displays; further filter, display, tournament and game information improvements; and additional customization options.

Tom Waters, managing director of the GVC Holdings PLC online poker brand, said, “We acknowledge that our poker product needed some love; we have been working on this project for a number of months with the support of a large group of players, according to iGaming Business.

Waters went on to say that over the past few weeks, PartyPoker has been testing the release of phase one and that player feedback has been extremely encouraging.

He reportedly said, “There are many more enhancements in the pipeline and I am confident that by the end of 2017 our players will be delighted with the improved look and feel and the usability of the software.”

Once the largest online poker card room, PokerParty now ranks second to PokerStars, having lost the distinction when it exited the U.S market. In 2013 the site re-entered the U.S by way of New Jersey.
