Revo Casino and Social House is set to transform Lebanon, New Hampshire, as it opens its doors on Miracle Mile next week. The venue, a $10.5 million renovation of a former car dealership, introduces a dynamic mix of gaming, dining, and entertainment. With 137 electronic slot machines, 10 gaming tables, five poker tables, and a smoker-friendly gaming room equipped with advanced ventilation, the casino offers something for everyone.

A new era for gaming in Lebanon:

Beyond its gaming attractions, Revo boasts a 30-seat restaurant, a 40-foot bar, and a live performance stage, all under one roof. The inclusion of a radio studio in partnership with I Heart Radio further highlights its unique entertainment offerings, with on-air broadcasts originating directly from the casino. The venue will operate from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekdays and until 2 a.m. on weekends, providing ample opportunities for patrons to enjoy its facilities.

Revo Casino isn’t just about entertainment—it also emphasizes charitable giving. Under New Hampshire’s “charitable gaming” laws, 45% of casino revenues must go to nonprofits and public education. Revo anticipates donating $12 to $13 million to various causes in 2024, with the Grafton County Senior Citizens Council and the New Hampshire Academy of Sciences among the first beneficiaries.

Grafton County Senior Citizens Council Executive Director Kathleen Vasconcelos shared that funds will enhance services like meal delivery, transportation, and outreach for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Meanwhile, Paul Faletra, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Academy of Sciences, highlighted the flexibility these funds provide for student mentorship and STEM initiatives, contrasting them with the restrictions of federal grants.

A thriving new destination:

Revo Casino replaces the smaller Lebanon Poker Room, which has operated since 2018 in a downtown location. The new venue’s larger space and additional amenities aim to establish it as a premier destination. General Manager Shawn Harris expressed confidence in the project’s appeal, noting that hiring for the 80 new positions exceeded expectations, with significant interest from local applicants. According to Valley News, he explained: “Having a restaurant and bar inside the casino, along with significantly expanded capacity for gambling, is expected to make Revo a true destination.”

Though the Lebanon Poker Room was small in scale, it played a crucial role in supporting the community through charitable gaming contributions. One notable recipient was the New Hampshire Academy of Sciences, which received approximately $20,000 from the poker room’s proceeds a few years ago.

The casino’s entertainment offerings also address a longstanding need for nightlife in Lebanon. According to Tracy Hutchins of the Upper Valley Business Alliance, young professionals have voiced concerns about limited evening social options. With live music, dining, and gaming, Revo could fill this gap, enhancing the area’s appeal for residents and employers alike.

Revo’s public opening is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18, following an invitation-only event on Tuesday, December 17. The debut will feature performances by local cover bands Casual Friday and Deja Voodoo, setting the stage for a vibrant new chapter in Lebanon’s entertainment scene.
