Scientific Games have announced they have successfully launched their latest generation omni-channel lottery gaming system in Canada for the Atlantic Lottery. Now live, the new system supports retail sales of lottery gaming as well as online gaming sales, plus mobile for several provinces.

Several games are supported within the new system including digital instant games, draw games, sports wagers and iBingo. Provinces to offer the new gaming system include Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. The system was created with the Player Account Management system included, which will help players of the Atlantic Lottery to purchase lottery products with one wallet.

In a press release, President and CEO of the Atlantic Lottery, Brent Scrimshaw, commented on the new system by stating: “Atlantic Lottery is committed to reinvention and renewal through fresh, new and enhanced products and services that are now enabled by this advanced systems technology from Scientific Games. We look forward to providing innovative entertainment experiences, to expanding the space in which we operate, and ultimately to beginning our next phase of responsible growth.”

The technology involved in the new system includes the AEGIS®gaming system and Sciplay™ iLottery platform of Scientific Games. With these features, the content of Scientific Games along with third-party content is easily integrated into the Atlantic Lottery’s offerings. As part of the new launch, the second-chance ticket entry program was re-added plus a new program featuring electronic scratch games that can be played online, via computer or mobile device.

The launch of the new systems is part of a contract between the Atlantic Lottery and Scientific Games which is set for five years. According to Senior Vice President of Global Gaming Systems, Pat McHugh, Scientific Games is working closely with the teams of the Atlantic Lottery in order to enhance the strategic marketing plan of the company as well as game innovation. A team from Scientific Games is based in Moncton, New Brunswick, the headquarters of the Lottery.
