If the rumor mill is correct, then Scientific Games (SG) is the new official lottery operator for Turkey. The gaming company is said to have signed a new partnership deal in the country to operate the lottery for ten years.

Exclusive Supplier:

According to an unidentified source connected to SG, the company has been given exclusive rights to supply Turkey with instant games via the lottery as well as retailer terminals and instant ticket validation systems.

It is rumored that officials of the country were impressed with the Wave terminals created by Scientific Games which helped to secure the lottery deal signed with the Turkey Wealth Fund.

Scientific will also be bringing other options to the country. The same source has reported that the company will be providing a turnkey sports betting solution. If true, this will should be lucrative for  the supplier as the state-sponsored fixed-odds sports betting market in Turkey is the second largest one in the world.

The rumored deal with Turkey comes just few days after the company announced that their SG Digital division has expanded their presence in New Jersey via the online gambling market. The company signed a supply deal with the Kindred Group, providing their Open Platform System and Open Gaming System for NJ.Unibet.com.

Both solutions have been described as world-class content and technology platforms, with Kindred Group reporting they will be able to use the new partnership with Scientific Games to extend their growth in the online gambling arena and reinforce their position within the gaming market of New Jersey.
