The Vietnam Poker Cup will be in its second edition this October after event organizers realized the tournament series was in high demand. According to ggraisa.com, the Ho Tram Resort Casino will play host the series, with events taking place from the 16th to the 18th of October.

The inaugural Vietnam Poker Cup took place back in August from the 21st to the 23rd and the response was so encouraging, the second edition was immediately planned. World Players Entertainment is the organizer of the poker event and their Chief Executive Andrew W. Scott had plenty to say on the subject of the new event. Scott pointed out the second series was scheduled as player demand was high for more professionally run poker tournaments at Ho Tram.

The group plans on offering the series as a regular event on the Asian poker calendar. The Vietnam Poker Cup has been described as a ‘home grown’ event and will have buy-ins start from a low $55 to $1,100. The largest buy-in goes to the High Roller tournament which could create an impressive prize pool. The Main Event of the series will have a buy-in of $550.

The Ho Tram Resort Casino poker room will host the event and only premiered in April of this year. The first major event to be hosted in the poker room was an Asian Poker Tour tournament in May. The poker room of the casino has provided quality tournament gaming since opening in early 2015 and plans on continuing to show their commitment to support the success of poker at the casino in the long term.
