Online casino games developer Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions GmbH has announced that it intends to launch its innovative Apollo God of the Sun video slot later this month featuring two independent reel sets.

The Vienna-based developer is a subsidiary of Austrian giant Novomatic AG and revealed that Apollo God of the Sun will be made available to online casino operators from September 18 complete with a 25-payline regular reel as well as a 75-payline compatriot.

“Apollo God of the Sun features no less than 25 lines on the regular reel set and 75 on the colossal reel set,” read a statement from Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions GmbH. “As players hunt for the best symbols together, the sun god Apollo lets stacked wild symbols appear on both reels and divine winnings are only a spin away.”

The developer declared that an icon of the sun is to serve as the game’s wild symbol and will substitute for all others with the exception of the bonus to “complete your winning combinations”.

“The bonus symbol acts as a scatter and triggers free games when it lands at least three times in any position on the reels,” read the statement from Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions GmbH. “Apollo as well as the horse symbol can appear as stacked symbols on both reel sets and significantly increase winning chances.”

The innovator explained that collecting three scatter symbols will trigger eight free games while twelve complimentary spins await any player that manages to amass four scatters. Potentially even more lucrative, there will be 20 free spins on offer to anyone that manages to collect five scatter icons.

“Scatters only appear on reels one, three and five on both reel sets,” read the statement from Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions GmbH. “During free games all wild symbols of the first reel set expand to the entire reel they land on and are then transferred to the second reel set. For example, if a wild symbol appears on reel one and two of the first reel set it occupies all reel positions. Afterwards all symbols of the first and second reel of the second reel set are also turned into wild symbols.”
