iGaming Business – The Nevada Gaming Control Board has reported that although the US state suffered a slight fall in online poker revenue in July, the month still proved to be Nevada’s second most successful since the organisation began releasing official figures in February of this year.

The state generated $958,000 (€722,941) in online poker revenue during July in comparison with just over $1 million generated in June, a month that was the most successful in the state’s history and the first time revenue had surpassed the $1 million mark.

The regulator put the success in June down to the World Series of Poker (WSOP), which ran throughout the month but was only in action for half of July.
