The Gold Coast Titans is an Australian rugby club that has partnered with Betezy to form a controversial new betting agency. The Titans said that the revenue from the new venture will help to fund the club and its charitable organization, the Gold Coast Titans Community Foundation. Other clubs have already expressed interest in following the Titans lead, including Melbourne and Manly.

The National Rugby League is allowing gambling ventures under strict guidelines. Clubs will not be allowed to offer odds on judiciary hearings and can not gain profit or loss from betting on single matches. The league frowns on clubs having any betting agency names on their jerseys, however, for moral reasons.
