The Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino of Lemoore, California is preparing to spend a little money on a new project, but this time the focus will not be on gambling. The Fresno Bee reports that the Tachi Yokut Tribe is going to create a new family entertainment complex at the venue, taking the focus away from casino gaming. The new complex will feature movie theaters, a billiards room, bowling alley, bar and concessions as well as arcade and concourse.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the new complex is reportedly set to take place tomorrow at the hotel & casino at 11 am. The entertainment center is expected to be 88,350 square feet in size and include an eight-screen movie theater using state-of-the-art technology. The bowling alley will have 30 lanes while the arcade will feature the latest video games and be more than 4,000 square feet in size. The billiards room will include 10 tables, according to the news agency.
On top of the entertainment options, the new Lemoore complex will also include a concourse, bar and concessions to offer cocktails and refreshments to guests. This area of the new addition is set to be 15,294 square feet in size. The complex is expected to be completed by September of this year, creating a full-service attraction for the entire family at Tachi Palace, as reported by The Fresno Bee.
Tachi Yokut Tribe Chairman, Ruben Barrios, commented on the new addition by stating the complex will help the venue become ‘a true family-friendly place for everyone to enjoy’, according to the news report. The Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino currently offers 2,000 gaming machines along with 24 table games. Guests can stay overnight with 255 rooms offered at the hotel. Dining is enjoyed via five restaurants on-site with a spa as well for comfort services.
