A little over a month after launching a VIP gambling service for The Plaza Macao and junket operator Tak Chun Group has now reportedly inaugurated a similar venture for the giant Okada Manila integrated casino resort.

According to a Monday report from GGRAsia, the high-stakes service for the Manila property operated by the Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment Incorporated subordinate of Japanese firm Universal Entertainment Corporation encompasses 18 gaming tables spread across five rooms and represents Tak Chun Group’s third VIP operation in the Philippines capital.

Tak Chun Group recently revealed that it now offers junket services at some 15 Macau casinos while its partners in the Philippines had already reportedly included the City of Dreams Manila venue from Melco Resorts and Entertainment Limited alongside Bloomberry Resorts Corporation’s Solaire Resort and Casino property.

For its part, Tokyo-based Universal Entertainment Corporation reportedly declared last month that the ‘full-scale’ inauguration of a ‘VIP casino’ operation for Okada Manila is ‘expected to make a big contribution to sales’ while GGRAsia cited brokerage firm Morgan Stanley Asia Limited as detailing that the next twelve months is likely to see the gambling venue significantly cannibalize market share from its three existing Manila rivals.
