The Bonnington Hotel in Dublin is preparing to host the upcoming Unibet Poker Open, with the festival kicking off on February 26th. The tour debuted in Dublin in 2011 and was a record-breaking affair in 2018, so Unibet is back where it all started in 2020. The Main Event kicks off quickly with the schedule loaded with additional tournament action.
Details of the Main Event:
The Main Event will begin on February 27th and offer players a buy-in of € 1,000 + €100. Players will find the tournament has three starting flights, Day 1a, Day 1b and Day 1c. A total of 30,000 in starting chips are provided and players can choose to complete a single re-entry into Day 1c.
The first two opening flights will have 60-minute blind levels while the final flight will have 20-minute blind levels. Day 1c will take place in turbo format to speed things up a bit. Players who make it through the opening flights will play for two more days, the 28th of February and March 1st to see who will be the next Unibet Open Dublin Main Event winner.
What Other Poker Tournament Options Are Available?
The schedule of the Dublin Poker Open includes a ton of additional tournament action. A day before the kickoff, on the 25th, a satellite to the Main Event will be hosted for only €165. This event will have 20-minute blind levels and offer re-entry. The starting stack is 10,000.
The first day of the festival is filled with poker events in Dublin, from the Unibet Open-er to the High Roller and Tag Team Championship. Satellites to the Main Event are also scheduled for the opening day. Additional events on the schedule include a Unibet Battle Royale, Flipout, Hyper Turbo and Pot Limit Omaha, among other options.
