After earlier in the month releasing its latest hit title, casino game software developer Wazdan has been certified in Colombia and is now able to offer an assortment from its premium slot portfolio in the South American country’s regulated online market.
The Malta-based supplier is now cleared to enter what is one of the largest regulated jurisdictions in Latin America, providing the company with new growth opportunities in the region. Celebrated industry-wide for its “open approach,” Colombia’s regulatory model “has established the market as one of the most exciting in iGaming,” according to the recent press release.
“This certification is yet another milestone for our business.”
Wazdan’s offering to local players will be headlined by two extremely popular titles, Larry the Leprechaun and 9 Lions, as part of a diverse slot portfolio, which delivers a range of gameplay and mechanics that appeals to players with varying tastes and demographics.
Logical location:
Commenting on the recent certification, Head of Business Development for Spain and Latin America at Wazdan, Albert Bellavista, said…
“Colombia’s solid regulatory framework makes it the logical location for us to focus our Latin American expansion and we’re looking forward to forming successful and longstanding partnerships in the market.
“This certification is yet another milestone for our business and we have no doubt that the popularity of our games with local players will see them become staples of operators’ online lobbies.”
Further certifications:
Wazdan’s slots accreditation comes on the heels of the company receiving similar certification in Spain late last month. Both certifications further advance the company’s strategic plans to significantly boost activity in regulated markets worldwide.
Colombia now joins Wazdan’s list of certified states, which includes major iGaming markets such as the UK, Romania, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, and others.
The provider also recently released its next hit title, Gem Splitter, which features Wazdan’s unique Multiways mechanics, offering up to 59,049 win ways, alongside a Symbol Splitter feature.
