Australian Gambling – South Sydney is almost an unbackable favourite to end its 43-year premiership drought and wreck Canterbury’s fairy tale in this Sunday’s NRL grand final.

The Rabbitoh’s are a very skinny $1.32 with Beteasy.com.au, the newest member of the AustralianGambling.com.au family, to knock over the Canterbury Bulldogs ($3.50), after finishing third on the ladder and running through second placed Manly, and top side Sydney.

The Bulldogs finished seventh and really only scraped into the finals, but they slaughtered the sixth placed Melbourne Storm in the qualifier, before eking out a thrilling one point win over the Sea Eagles to knock them out of the finals, before finishing off Penrith last week to book a date with the Rabbitohs.

BetEasy’s Rob Cumbrae-Stewart told AustralianGambling.com.au exclusively that punters were “dead set on the Rabbitohs to beat the Bulldogs in this weekend’s NRL decider”.

“There hasn’t been a heap of movement on the game yet – the line is fixed at -10 the Rabbitohs’ way,” Cumbrae-Stewart said.

“But there was some early interest in the Dogs at $3.50 – but nothing to drag the line or price in.

“Whatever the prices, the Sunday night thriller is bound to drag a few along and be a cracker of a game.”

Over at Sportsbet.com.au, another of our recommended online bookmakers, The Bulldogs have come in to $3.20 from their original quote of $3.50, forcing South Sydney’s odds out from $1.32 to $1.36.
