Gamblers who won $1.5 million at the Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City, have been ordered to return their winnings. A court judge has sided with the casino, instead of 14 gamblers who won when playing mini baccarat. The casino claims that the cards were not shuffled, although the players have argued that this is not their problem.  They claim that since it is a casino error they should be allowed to retain their haul. In the majority of other cases, if a casino has failed to shuffle their cards, then they accept the blame.

The players upped their stakes from $10 a hand up to $5,000 when they realized what was going on. This decision is almost certainly going to be appealed.
