Swedish studio Yggdrasil Gaming has unleashed its latest video slot, Neon Rush Splitz, the second game to utilize the developer’s innovative Spitz mechanic.
In this 5-reel, 3-row 10 paylines creation, fans are treated to a visual feast played out in a futuristic neon city environment complemented by a cool Synthwave soundtrack straight from the 80s.
Win potential:
The online casino software provider has really hit it out of the park with this futuristic game that in addition to the Splitz feature, which offers an “unparalleled” win potential with up to 248,382 pay ways, also adds a jackpot that can pay out more than 25,000x the stake!
Along with Yggdrasil’s unique and highly-innovative Splitz mechanic, the new video slot is packed with features, including six different jackpots and an extra spins mode.
Game symbols:
The developer keeps symbols to a minimum here, with a triangle, diamond and a hexagon on the low side, along with premiums, a pink and a green shard. Five premiums across a full payline are worth 2x the stake, and courtesy of the Splitz feature, combos of up to 15 of a kind are possible and worth 500x the stake.
Lastly, the Wild only makes an appearance when revealed by a Splitz symbol. As many as five per Splitz can be revealed, and they can take the place of any other pay symbol.
Jackpots and Wilds:
Triggering the Extra Spins mode occurs if three or more Extra Spin symbols land on the reels; the more symbols that land, the more spins gained. During the bonus round, Splitz symbols always reveal Jackpots or Wilds. The former can be triggered via the Splits symbols. Splitting into at least five jackpots earns a 5x payout, awarding players increasing amounts for every extra jackpot symbol that is created, with the max being 25,000x stake.
In an official press release, Senior Product Strategist for Yggdrasil Gaming, Jonas Strandman, said…
“Neon Rush SplitzTM is the newest addition to the SplitzTM family and we can’t wait to see how it is received by our fans worldwide.
“With its fun, visual-heavy theme and potential for lucrative wins through both the SplitzTM mechanic and the six jackpots available in the title, Neon Rush SplitzTM will give players great experiences over and over again.”
If you’re playing on a mobile device, you’ll want to play on landscape mode to get the full effect.
Splitz mechanic:
Neon Rush Splitz has a return to player (RTP) of 96.3 percent and is the Malta-headquartered developer’s second title utilizing the Splitz mechanic following January 22, 2020 debut of Temple Stacks: Splitz, which offers the same staggering 248,832 pay ways.
