Swedish iGaming software company Yggdrasil has launched its latest new game, Gator Gold Gigablox, which is the third title in its Gigablox slots series after debuting the game-changing mechanic in June 2020.

The Cherry AB subsidiary’s high volatility video slot is set in the African river lands, where extra spins, wild multipliers and up to 4,096 ways to win await! During gameplay, players will also find a Golden Gator Alligator roaming a 6-reel, 4-row grid as they search for big symbols and even bigger wins.

Symbols and gameplay:

This jungle-themed adventure, which has a possible 1,200,000 maximum win, is playable on both desktop and mobile and has a 96 percent RTP along with a mechanic that has super-sized symbols of up to 4×4 in size appearing at any time on any reel, with a minimum of two reels turning the giant symbols on each and every spin.

In addition to the Golden Gator, which is the highest paying symbol, there are 9-A card values that comprise the lower value symbols while an alligator, cheetah, wildebeest, zebra, and meerkat make up the higher pays. Don’t fear the menacing-looking gator as he pays out for two of a kind while you’ll need at least three like symbols for the others to pay.

Landing at least five extra spin symbols activates the casino spins mode, where Wild symbols multiply each winning combination by either 2x or 3x providing the opportunity for some huge wins of up to 30,000 times the stake!

Huge win potential:

Commenting on the new launch, Head of Product and Programs for Yggdrasil, Stuart McCarthy said in a company presser

“Gator Gold Gigablox™ gives fans an immersive adventure on the African plains as they look to enjoy the staggering win potential of the Golden Alligator. With a Gigablox symbol landing on every spin, it’s another fantastic addition to our offering and we can’t wait to see how our fans react to its launch.”

GEM solutions:

The Malta-headquartered provider’s latest video slot follows Hades Gigablox, which was released in October 2020 and preceded the June launch of Lucky Neko Gigablox, which debuted the innovative and wildly successful game mechanic that is part of Yggdrasil’s Game Engagement Mechanic (GEM) solution. The latter is available to all YG Masters partners, such as up-and-coming slots developer Peter & Sons, enabling them to incorporate the popular mechanics in their own game development.

GigaRise, Splitz, and MultiMax are also part of the developer’s proprietary GEM, with the latest addition debuting in April with the deep sea adventure, Atlantean Gigarise. The slot game links to another hit, Jackpot Raiders, which means the two games feed into a single prize pool, which in turn, creates five progressive jackpots!

Coming soon:

Fans can expect the provider to drop HippoPop PopWins on May 31st. The win-all-ways game with up to 65536 ways to win comes to us from Hong-Kong-based independent games studio AvatarUX and available via Yggdrasil‘s Masters YGS Program.
