British game developer Reflex Gaming has launched its latest online slot title, Krazy Klimber, which is the third game released through Yggdrasil Gaming‘s YG Masters collaborative content partnership program. Sure to be a hit, the game transports players back to 1933 Manhattan where a gigantic gorilla swats at airplanes from the walls of the Empire State Building.

If the storyline sounds familiar, that’s because it is, with the 5-reel, 3-row video slot taking a page from the monster adventure-romance film, King Kong, only with players challenged with battling the beast on top of the tower for a chance at up to 1000 x stake!

Familiar theme:

The medium volatility action has 20 fixed paylines along with 10 regular pay symbols including 10 – A card icons, along with the high pays which comprise vintage movie cameras, planes, skulls (think, Kong: Skull Island), the game’s logo, and, of course, the blonde damsel reminiscent of Fay Wray, Kong’s crush in the R.K.O. Pictures hit. Filling a line with five of the same premium symbols pays out 8 – 50 times the total bet, while the fearless ape serves as the game’s wild and substitutes for everything except for the bonus.

Bonus game:

Two major features, the Krazy Klimber bonus game, and extra spins can be activated on any spin in this latest YG Masters title where players can select stakes from €0.20 to €100.00 on any device. Landing bonus symbols on reels 1, 3, and 5, triggers the Krazy Klimber feature and begins the creature’s ascent to the top of the skyscraper.

The great ape climbs the building while an adjacent ladder of different prizes offers a set of values, such as a multiplier win of a player’s stake or extra spins, that increase as the star of the show makes his way to the apex. Once the feature has ended, players are paid and return to the base game, or they go straight to the bonus if the extra spins mode is activated during the climb. In the latter scenario, players are awarded a max three super sliding wilds that can glide between reels for possible ginormous wins on every spin!

Desperate Dawgs success:

Krazy Klimber, which comes with a 112,800 max win and a 96.06 percent RTP, follows Reflex Gaming’s wildly successful March 18th release via the YG Masters program, Desperate Dawgs, which, according to leading operator William Hill, is among their top three launches of the year so far.

High praise:

“Thrilled” with their latest launch through the YG Masters program, Chief Product Officer for Reflex Gaming, Mat Ingram lauded the title as “one of our strongest games on our land-based machine estates.”

The CPO added to the company presser

“From the toe-tapping rhythms of the jazz soundtrack to the buzz of circling bi-planes and search lights sweeping across the Manhattan nightscape; we’re looking forward to seeing players scale new heights of entertainment and excitement with our ape in search of big wins.”

Krazy Klimber is powered by Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art GATI technology, which allows players to utilize the preconfigured, standardized development toolkit that is regulation-ready and produces content that is consistently at the forefront of innovation followed by rapid deployment.

Also commenting on the new release, Head of Product and programs for Yggdrasil, Stuart McCarthy, said…

“Krazy Klimber sees another action-packed slot added to the YG Masters portfolio by Reflex Gaming.

“With an instantly recognisable theme and huge win potential through the Krazy Klimber feature, we can’t wait to see how the game is received by players across our operator network.”

PopWins addition:

Earlier this month, Hong Kong-based independent games studio AvatarUX added another slot to its growing PopWins series by way of HippoPop. The super high volatility, 5-reel, 8-row video slot that was launched by Yggdrasil courtesy of the YG Masters program partnership,  offers plenty of exciting features, such as multipliers, Hippo Payouts, and an extra spin Bonus Wheel, along with a max win €1,926,000!

The game joins, TikiPopBountyPopCherryPopWildPops and PopRocks, which was launched in April 2020 and was the first release from AvatarUX on the Yggdrasil Masters platform.
