Adding to its rapidly-growing YG Masters program, Swedish iGaming software company, Yggdrasil, has partnered with Malta-based Jade Rabbit Studio in a move that is to fast-track its game development and growth strategy. The move is hot on the heels of the launch of the provider’s latest collaboration with ReelPlay.
Under the deal, the Cherry AB subsidiary’s advanced game development technology will be made available to the up-and-coming slots studio established in 2018 while also leveraging Yggdrasil’s vast operator network to effect rapid product distribution across markets worldwide.
“We are looking forward to delivering awesome games through the Yggdrasil network.”
Using a company presser to communicate that they are “eager” to see what their new partner creates and they look forward to seeing where the “relationship takes us,” Head of Partner Programs for Yggdrasil, Stuart McCarthy explained…
“Part of what we look for in our partners is a vision that complements our own, and Jade Rabbit Studio has just that with its ambition to drive new levels of excitement within game design.”
GATI driven:
The wildly successful YG Masters program is driven by the Stockholm-based provider’s advanced GATI (game adaptation tools & interface) technology, which enables partners to build and deploy faster globally. In addition to the YG Master program, the proposition powers YG Franchise, is language agnostic/task appropriate and offers considerable scale of business operations.
Self-proclaimed “slotheads,” Jade Rabbit Studio’s Managing Director Roger Admeus said they are “delighted” to announce their agreement with Yggdrasil that will see their future titles launched via the YG Maters program “with all its advantages,” including GATI technology, which has been “proven to propel business growth with amazing promotions and efficient network distribution.”
Admeus added…
“We work hard to produce captivating gaming experiences and becoming a YG Masters partner will help to facilitate and accelerate this process. We are looking forward to delivering awesome games through the Yggdrasil network so keep an eye out for our first general release through the YG Masters program, Word of Thoth, available from 17th May.”
ReelPlay collaboration:
Meanwhile, Yggdrasil’s latest collaboration with Sydney-headquartered YG Masters’ partner ReelPlay has seen the launch of “the world first combination” of Megaways and Infinity Reels via Odin Infinity Reels Megaways. The new video slot follows April releases, Thor Infinity Reels and Royal Dragon Infinity Reels.
“Odin is the first slot in the world to offer Megaways™ to infinity!”
In addition to both of the extremely popular online slot mechanics, the third slot in the Australian developer’s Infinity Reels Series franchise features a Norse magic vibe, extra spins, and wins up to x20,000 the triggering bet!
Set in the mountainous and mythical world of Odin, the King of Asgard, the high volatility slot kicks off with three reels, each with a different number of symbols. With every winning combination landed, the reels expand and the win multiplier increases thanks to the Infinity Reels mechanic. Players who are lucky enough to reach the 15th reel or past it can win a jackpot of 888 times their bet, in addition to any other wins that accumulate in the process.
Triggering the bonus game happens when players land six Gungnir (Odin’s spear) Scatter symbols across any number of in-play reels. Then, the game transforms into a dual wheel selector during which players will find out the number of extra spins they receive and the specific multiplier in play. The latter increases with each additional reel added during the bonus game, giving players the chance to earn massive wins.
World first combination:
“A collaboration for our time, steeped in the cloak of Norse mythology, Odin takes a huge step in volatility and we’re proud to launch our stunning adventure as a YG Masters partner,” the CEO said.
The latest ReelPlay title to be released by way of the YG Master program, Odin Infinity Reels Megaways utilizes Yggdrasil’s advanced GATI technology, which as mentioned is used by all YG Masters partners.
For its part, Yggdrasil Gaming’s McCarty explained that the successful program was “designed to facilitate leading products from some of the most innovative studios in the industry, and this latest release ticks every box.” And that ReelPlay “has been a fantastic partner for us and we’re very pleased to roll out their newest hit which is true to our Nordic roots.”
