While Baha Mar continues to prepare for opening, with slot machines on the docks ready for installation, officials have announced the executives who will be in charge of casino operations for the facility. A press release by Baha Mar was presented over the weekend to announce that Alex W. Pariente and John Zaremba will head the executive team for the Baha Mar Casino. Attorney General Allyson Maynard-Gibson announced over the weekend that slot machines were being prepared for installation at the property.
Pariente will take on the role as the executive vice president of casino operations and marketing while Zaremba will be the vice president of casino operations. Both individuals are experienced in the hospitality, entertainment and gaming industries having held executive positions at casinos located in Las Vegas as well as the Caribbean.
Pariente has worked in the past as the chief gaming officer for the Hard Rock International gaming venue located in Punta Cana while Zaremba previously worked for the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as the vice president of gaming operations, having 30 years of experience in the industry.
In the press release, Baha Mar pointed out Zaremba’s expertise in the innovation of high roller gaming, stating that he was instrumental in creating and operating high limit and private gaming salons for the Cosmopolitan, Venetian and the Palazzo. Graeme Davis, the President of Baha Mar, stated that both men possess extensive experience with luxury casinos and resorts of a global scale, having opened and operated such facilities.
Davis further stated that the Baha Mar looks forward to welcoming Alex and John to their team, drawing from their deep expertise of the industry to be able to create the next great gaming and entertainment destination for guests and visitors alike.
When the Baha Mar Casino opens, the facility is expected to be the largest in the region, offering 100,000 square feet of gaming space. Executives of the casino stated that the venue will be operated by a subsidiary of the owner, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises. The property is set to have over 1,000 slot machines along with 126 table games. Also on offer will be mobile gaming, race/sports betting and high roller gaming salons.
