Genting Casino Stratford, the UK’s largest casino, is marking its grand reopening with a vibrant four-day celebration. Located in the bustling Westfield Stratford City, this revamped casino is hosting an exciting series of events from Thursday, July 31 to Sunday, August 3, 2025. The festivities will include live performances, DJ sets, and special promotions designed to enhance the guest experience.
A Historic Venue with a New Look and Enhanced Amenities
According to G3 Newswire, the celebration kicks off on Thursday, July 31, with an exclusive VIP event, followed by a live performance by singer-songwriter Beverley Stone on Friday, August 1. Stone, known for her performances at renowned venues like Ronnie Scott’s and 606 Club, is set to bring her signature style to the casino. Saturday, August 2, will feature DJ performances from Dean McCollough, Rickie & Melvin, and Kimberly Watt from 7 pm, alongside a 2-for-1 cocktail happy hour from 4 pm to 10 pm. The weekend concludes on Sunday, August 3, with a performance from Sirene, a dynamic duo offering a mix of vocals and multi-instrumental talent.
The casino, originally opened as Aspers Casino Stratford in 2011, quickly became a popular destination, attracting 1.3 million visitors in its first full year. With Genting’s recent acquisition and a seven-figure investment in upgrades, the venue has undergone significant renovations, which include the introduction of new electronic gaming equipment and a refreshed food and drinks area. Genting’s investment is expected to bring the casino back to its peak performance levels, making it an even more attractive destination for both existing and new visitors.
Paul Willcock, President and Chief Operating Officer of Genting Casinos UK, shared his excitement about the relaunch: “We are delighted to welcome regular guests and new visitors to the new-look Genting Casino Stratford for a fantastic series of launch events and a chance to experience our first-class hospitality. We pride ourselves on offering customers the best in gaming and entertainment across our portfolio of 32 casinos, and we are confident that Stratford will grow from strength to strength as it becomes part of the Genting family.”
The renovated Genting Casino Stratford features a variety of cutting-edge gaming options, including the UK’s largest casino floor with 150 slot machines and 100 Electronic Gaming Terminals. The casino boasts new curve cabinets from IGT, which are equipped with progressives and LED displays, offering payouts of up to £20,000. Novomatic terminals offer diverse gaming options, including Spreadbet roulette, single and double-zero roulette, and live dealer Baccarat games.
Poker enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy as the casino expands its poker offering, continuing to host daily cash games and major tournaments such as the British Poker Series. The venue is already known for having one of the largest poker rooms in the UK, with more than 35 tables, including specialized tables for Heads Up Hold’em and Prime 3 Card Progressive Poker.
Genting’s Enhanced Rewards and VIP Experience
Both new and returning guests can take advantage of the My Genting rewards program, which allows players to earn points on every visit. These points can be used for free play at slot machines, electronic tables, live gaming, or redeemed for food and drinks. The Genting Rewards App offers a 10% discount on all drinks, along with the opportunity to earn extra points by completing challenges and app badges.
