This June, the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati will be closing for a short time frame to complete the rebranding process to a Jack Entertainment property. Regulators of the state do not have an exact timeline in place but have reported that the venue will be changing everything during the rebranding process, removing items with the ‘Horseshoe’ name and logo. The timeframe of closure will take place sometime in early June.

Billboards in the area state that the venue will reopen as Jack Cincinnati Casino on the 9th of June, based on the name change announced from a few weeks ago. Full details have not been announced by casino officials as the process is still being finalized.

Removing the Horseshoe logo and name will be a lengthy process as gambling tables, dice, card decks and slot machines are just a few areas in which the old brand was present. It was announced back in February that Jack Entertainment, formerly known as Rock Gaming, would be changing the name of the properties located in Michigan and Ohio.

Rock Gaming changed to Jack Entertainment after buying out Caesars Entertainment, their former partner, last year. The company is now spending around $40 million to rebrand four properties, the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati, Horseshoe Cleveland, ThistleDown Racino and the Greektown Casino of Detroit.
