Playtika Holding Corp., a leader in mobile gaming and interactive entertainment, has finalized its acquisition of Tel Aviv-based gaming company SuperPlay. Known for popular titles like Dice Dreams and Domino Dreams, SuperPlay’s addition significantly bolsters Playtika’s portfolio and development capabilities.
This acquisition enhances Playtika’s status in the mobile gaming market by diversifying its offerings and introducing proven hit games in the Coin Looter and Board game categories. Financial terms of the transaction, which was completed on November 20, 2024, were not disclosed in the company press release.
Expanding Playtika’s Portfolio
SuperPlay’s flagship title, Dice Dreams, ranks as the third-largest game in the fast-growing Coin Looter genre, while Domino Dreams leads the Board game category. Both games, alongside two additional titles currently in development, are expected to drive substantial growth for Playtika.
The acquisition also adds SuperPlay’s expert development team to Playtika, strengthening its production and innovation capabilities. “Acquiring SuperPlay is a strategic decision that underscores Playtika’s mobile gaming industry leadership,” said Craig Abrahams, Chief Financial Officer of Playtika.
“SuperPlay diversifies our portfolio with proven titles, strengthens our competitive edge in an ever-evolving market, and drives value for our shareholders,” Abrahams added.

Playtika’s History of Acquisitions
This acquisition follows Playtika’s continued focus on strategic expansion through mergers and acquisitions. Earlier in 2023, Playtika completed a $300 million purchase of Innplay Labs and acquired the Youda Games portfolio from Azerion. While Playtika explored acquiring Rovio Entertainment, best known for the Angry Birds franchise, the deal ultimately went to Sega Sammy.
The addition of SuperPlay is a testament to Playtika’s commitment to innovation and growth. By integrating new titles into its portfolio, the company aims to strengthen its position in a competitive market.
Playtika’s Q3 financial results hinted at the strategic importance of this acquisition. While revenue dipped slightly by 1% to $620.8 million, the company saw an increase in operating profit, which rose 8.3% to $97.5 million.
