XL Blizzard Finishes Up:
The announcement of the WSOP sponsorship comes juts a few days after the operator finished up their XL Blizzard poker festival. The poker event offered 34 tournaments and took place from February 6th to the 16th. Over $1.4 million in guaranteed prize money was up for grabs.
The festival was quite affordable, offering buy-ins at a low $5.50 and going only as high as $320. Satellites and freerolls were also on offer, which helped players to earn a seat to the events at a fraction of the cost.
