Swiss sports data and content supplier, Sportradar, has become the official sports data provider for The Action Network courtesy of a new multi-year partnership.
More specifically, the New York-based sports analysis and media company will capitalize on Sportradar’s data services for its premium subscription product, Action Edge.
Available in a monthly or annual subscription package, the product provides bettors with “accurate and reliable real-time data” including “live odds” and “public money” trends for every game in all the major sports.
Commenting on the new partnership, Managing Director for US Media, Sportradar, Dave Abbott, said in an official press release…
“Sportradar, like The Action Network, sits at the center of sports, media and betting.
“As such, we are always looking to align ourselves with like-minded brands that understand the shifting nature of the fan experience and how to create engaging, bespoke products for sports fans. We are excited to work with The Action Network to fully unlock the potential of its growing audience.”
Evolving product:
The collaboration will also aid in supporting the “creation of dynamic content,” which will allow the sports media company to provide sports consumers with a range of “unique data insights.”
Able to deliver more in-depth content regarding team and athletic performance, the aim of The Action Network is to have real-time interaction with consumers as they follow their action.

The Cherin Group:
The Action Network was launched in January 2018 by independent media company The Cherin Group, which was also recently in the news after having reduced its majority stake in the popular sports and pop culture blog, Barstool Sports.

Meanwhile, Sportradar, which was established in 2001, recently inked an alliance with Intratot Inc., a subsidiary of Intralot Group in the USA, for the North American market.

In November the company extended its long-term partnership with American daily fantasy sports contest and sports betting provider, DraftKings.
