After starting the month with a bang, launching not one but two new hit slot releases, Pragmatic Play has now agreed a commercial deal with customer-focused online operator 500 Casino as part of its “multi-vertical” strategy.”
Under the agreement, the sports book and iGaming brand owned and operated by Perfect Storm BV, which according to its website is registered in Curaçao, will add content from two of the provider’s most popular verticals, Slots and Live Casino, to its already substantial product lobby.
Two Vertical Deal:
Customers who enjoy playing at 500 Casino will now be able to experience popular slot titles such as Gates of Olympus, the Greek Mythology-themed video slot that has won the provider multiple Game of the Year awards, along with more recently released hits like Greedy Wolf, inspired by the classic The Three Little Pigs fable, the jungle-themed Gorilla Mayhem, and Magic Money Maze from Pragmatic Play and associate studio Reel Kingdom.
In addition to slots, the provider will also supply titles from its fast-growing Live Casino vertical including roulette and blackjack classics, as well as the innovative Boom City, which is played on a custom-built set with a 6×6 board, containing 36 fields and offers a max prize of €500,000, and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand. Also featuring a game show format, the title gives its 2019 hit slot Sweet Bonanza a live casino makeover, transforming it into a mega wheel-style game with two exciting bonus games.
Strategic Alignment:
Commenting on the collaboration, Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer for Pragmatic Play, said that adding 500 Casino to its “ever-growing list of clients is key to our multi-vertical strategy.”
According to the COO, the arrangement is “another exciting commercial deal” in which they look to further their footprint in “targeted regulated markets” like Europe, Latin America and Africa.
Also quoted was Christoffer Andersson, Chief Operating Officer for 500 Casino, as saying…
“Providing our players with the best games available on the market is paramount to our continued success, and we are thrilled to be welcoming Pragmatic Play’s substantial portfolio to our offering.
“Its titles provide a seal of quality to any casino and we are very pleased to be able to offer two of its core verticals to our customers.”
Global Progress:
The latest tie-up with the sport book and online casino brand follows a series of similar partnerships announced by the provider over the past few months including those with sports betting and iGaming operator Hollywoodbets to supply content to markets in the UK and Ireland, along with U.S.-based gaming company Rush Street Interactive (NYSE: RSI) (“RSI”) for its Rushbet brand for the Colombian market, and Betway, which it launched a bespoke live studio with.
The online sports betting brand is owned by Guernsey-based holding company Super Group (NYSE: SGHC) along with multi-brand online casino, Spin.
