Malta-based 3D slots specialist, Betsoft Gaming, has added yet another industry accolade to its portfolio, having beat out a host of heavy hitters to win Innovation in RNG Casino Software at this year’s EGR B2B Awards.
One of the industry’s most prestigious events of the year, the awards extravaganza rewards and celebrates the best of the best service providers in the online gaming industry. The 2019 edition took place on the evening of June 25 at the Tower of London on the north bank of the River Thames in central London.
According to the official press release…
It is the Valletta-headquartered innovator’s first ever EGR Award, with the distinguished judges lauding Betsoft for its imaginative and game-changing creations launched over the past 12 months.
We have a winner:
The group of judges that was allocated this specific category based on their specific market knowledge emphasized the talented developer‘s revolutionary release, Max Quest: Wrath of Ra.
A milestone game, the real-money product has transformed RNG gaming, replacing the symbols and reels that have forever defined traditional slots with an ‘interactive, all-action shooting experience.’ Also, rather than a spin button, players aim their crosshairs at enemies, and bullets that hit their targets and randomly pay out in coins, are used instead of paylines.
Throughout the exciting game, players join a band of experienced treasure hunters and must take aim and shoot legions of supernatural monsters when confronted. By doing so, players can earn sizeable, randomly-generated payouts, creating a one-of-a-kind slot product that integrates social gaming, video gaming and online casino.
More of Max Quest:
The game’s broader reach is evident and has received major acclaim from its creator’s partners, with operators calling it “stunning,” “game-changing,” and “transformative.” And, like all Betsoft games, Max Quest was built in the firm’s cross-platform SHIFT development environment, guaranteeing that players have the same great gameplay experience on whatever device they decide to play on, whether it be desktop, tablet or mobile.
Stiff competition:
Other leading developer’s that were shortlisted for the award included industry heavy hitters such as Microgaming, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Quickspin, Red Tiger and Yggdrasil Gaming, which was also successful at the event having been named RNG Casino Supplier of the year.
Betsoft’s first ever EGR Award comes on the heels of being named Best Online Gambling Game Developer at the inaugural Corporate Vision magazine Media Innovator Awards 2019 in mid-June, along with its big win at the annual G2E Asia Awards where the developer won the Best B2B Digital Product Solution category in late May.
Coming soon:
The provider’s game-changing content, including its recently released superhero-themed, Spinfinity Man, and its soon to be released video slots title, Gold Canyon, are to be showcased at iGB Live! on stand M-14 happening between July 16 and 19th at the Amsterdam RAI, Amsterdam.
Commenting on the prestigious award, Marketing Director for Betsoft Gaming, Annamaria Anastasi, said…
“To say we’re thrilled would be a huge understatement. This is an amazing achievement for us and we are extremely happy to see that the industry has recognised the innovation that went into the development of Max Quest.
“The Betsoft team worked tirelessly for many months to develop and launch Max Quest and they have delivered a game changing concept to a market that is seeking fresh propositions for its players. We have some of the most talented people here and this award is for them.”
Industry leader:
Betsoft features a portfolio of over 190 RNG titles which players enjoy through partnerships with some of the industry’s leading operators, including LeoVegas, Mr Green, ComeOn!, Vera & John and many others. Under its SLOTS3TM banner, the developer is taking players’ expectations to a new level.
