The GGPoker section of the WSOP Online series has been quite successful. Players from around the world have been competing at the site since mid-July in order to try and earn a WSOP gold bracelet. As events finish up, new players are crowned winners, joining the list of gold bracelet holders! Over the past few days, a few more winners were named, leading up towards the completion of the GGPoker WSOP Online Series.
Event #75
One of the most recent events to finish up, this tournament was a $300 Double Stack NLHE. It offered up $991,008 in prize money after seeing 3,552 in total entries. The top 440 players were able to earn a payout.
The winner of this online poker event was Trygve Leite, known as “FullSendWig” online. From Norway, Leite was able to defeat Emanuele “BudSpencer” Monari, to win his first WSOP bracelet and just over $130,000!
Event #76 and #78
This event was a FORTY STACK No Limit Hold’em tournament with a $400 buy-in. This tournament saw 4,461 entries and was won by Gediminas “NeverGambol” Uselis. The winner busted to early buy-ins before making his way through the competition on his third to claim the title. For the win, Uselis earned $227,186!
Moving on to Event #78, this tournament was a Turbo 8-Handed option with a $1,000 buy-in. The tournament took seven hours to complete and had a field of 1,910. In the end, it was Adnan “Bolazar” Hacialioglu who earned the gold bracelet and $259,842 in prize money.
Huge Hit Among Players
The GGPoker WSOP Online Series has been a huge success, with many events surpassing their guarantees. In early August, the GGMasters WSOP Edition took place as part of the series. It was considered a high-roller event.
The buy-in was $1,500 and saw 9,835 players competing. This pushed the guaranteed prize pool from $1 million to just over $3 million. With the help of the increased prize money, the first place winner took home an amazing $444,869!
