Interblock, a luxury gaming manufacturer and market leader in electronic table games has announced an expansion within the Foxwoods Resort Casino. The manufacturer has installed their third stadium in the venue, this time around adding the Diamond dealer assist stadium. With the installation, Interblock now has 85 seats on the property.
Continued Partnership:
Interblock and Foxwoods have worked together for quite some time, providing players with quality gaming options at the property. The two first partnered up in 2016 when Foxwoods added the Pulse Arena to their gaming floor. Known as the PLAY Arena, the experience combines entertainment, gambling and social interaction.
The new Diamond dealer assist stadiums added to the venue will offer additional options within the venue’s Rainmaker Casino and Fox Tower Casino. The stadiums will have 30 and 24 seats, offering several games including Roulette and Multi-Hand Blackjack.
The live dealer tables have a dealer console and camera where players can easily view the live gameplay from the screen as well as with the LCD screens that are displayed above them.
According to a recent press release…
Interblock CEO, John Connelly, commented on the installation by stating: “The executive management team at Foxwoods Resort Casino has always strived to be first when it comes to innovation. The introduction of a third stadium within the same casino is an indication of the financial benefits Foxwoods has realized. A combination of new players, operational savings, and the ability to increase both handle and hold percentages has proven to bring the incremental EBITDA Foxwoods was looking for. This could have only been achieved with the support of the casino.”
New Boss:
The renovations are not the only changes taking place at the Foxwoods. Back in July, the Connecticut venue announced that a new President and Chief Executive Officer had been named for the venue. John James, an experienced figure in the casino industry, is now the head of the group.
Jones has more than 25 years of experience in the industry and was working as the Chief Operating Officer for the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, a facility located in southern California. Jones has begun his new role this month at the Foxwoods.
